IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko and Clear Scraps: Clear Summer Mini Album

IC_CS_Badge

IMAGINE Crafts is proud to feature projects created by our Artists In Residence this week using products from ClearScraps.  We hope you enjoy the creativity our team shares with you this week!

Hi everyone and happy Monday :)

I am so excited to be part of this months blog hop with IMAGINE Crafts + Clear Scraps!
For this mini album -which I will complete with photos after Summer holidays- I decorated a "6x6 Tab Album" from Clear Scraps.

The white swirls DON'T come with the clear album, but I stamped them with Cotton White StazOn, which is the perfect choice to stamp on acrylic (and all other non-porous) surface!

I distressed all edges of the design paper panels with Memento inks and created a frame for the circle paper on page 2 with irRESISTible Pico Embellisher Gold

You can find a complete and detailed list of supplies I used as well as step-by-step instructions on how to create this mini album at the end of this post (please refer to the grey boxes below)

Do What Makes Your Heart Happy

Hi everyone and happy Friday :)

Thank you so much for stopping by, today!
Your visits and lovely comments just mean so much to me and are very much appreciated!!!

I know it has been quiet here on my blog, lately! I am still working "behind the scenes" to get some projects done but I had to deal with some health and other issues during the last weeks and months...

Slowly but steadily things seem to get back to "normal" and I hope I will be able to show more cards and other projects here on my blog again, soon!!! :)

But now onto my project for today: Above you can see a little sneak peek of my project for IMAGINE Crafts. I have used some of my favorite products here on this card: Radiant Neon inks along with Versamark and the super awesome verdigris embossing powder from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko!

You can find the card as a whole plus detailed and pictured step-by-step instructions on the IMAGINE Crafts blog

For a list of supplies, please refer to the grey box below this post.

I would be delighted if you hop over there and take a look (and maybe leave me a comment? :-) )

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you here on my blog again, soon :)

IMAGINE Crafts + Altered Pages

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday :)

Each Tuesday during the month of June, IMAGINE Crafts would like to share with you the projects that our Artists In Residence have created using products from Altered Pages. The Design Team at Altered Pages will also be featuring IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko products on their blog throughout the month and we hope that you'll visit the Altered Pages Blog to see the fabulous projects that their team has designed as well.

Altered Pages sent us some wonderful goodies, such as vintage pictures, vintage dictionary pages and sheet music etc, some ribbon and charms and two lovely collage stamps.

I chose to use the following products from Altered Pages (see picture below) for my card:
  • a page from an old french dictionary
  • a silver key charm
  • some blue seam binding
  • white crochet ribbon
  • "Muse PARIS" stamp
And of course some inks, markers and tools from IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko!

Ohhhh... and I am so excited to show you my project,  because this is a special combination of "styles", which I both really love: "clean and simple" style meets "romantic/vintage" look :)

Here are the other Artists from IMAGINE Crafts with their amazing projects:

IMAGINE Crafts + Dreamweaver: "Endless Possibilities" Blog Hop

This week IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver Stencils are featuring a Blog Hop showcasing our fabulous products and providing some inspiration for you to get creative!  Be sure to leave your comments on each artist's post that you visit for your chance to win a fabulous prize that includes IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver products.  Contest closes at 11:59pm PST on Sunday, June15th.

And here is my project using Versamark, gold Embossing Powder and some Delicata Silver from Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts together with the "Heart n Ribbon" stencil from Dreamweaver:

Unfortunately it is very hard to catch the gorgeousness of the golden embossing together with the sparkly, shiny silver stamping in a picture (it looks soooo beautiful and elegant in real life!!!)

Here are the "how-to"s for my anniversary card:

step 1: cut white panel slightly smaller than card base
step 2: affix stencil with washi tape to the upper third of the panel:

step 3: using a sponge dauber, pick up some  Versamark ink and dab it through the stencil:

step 4: remove stencil and generously pour gold embossing powder over the Versamark ink:

step 5: shake off excess powder and use a heat tool to melt the embossing powder:

step 6: stamp sentiment with Delicata Silver underneath the embossed image:

step 7: embellish with rhinestones
step 8: mount panel onto white card base using dimensional foam adhesive
